Film scores with new directors

“I always begin with the imperative of serving the drama.  Storytelling is the most important aspect of my job. I use a very large, (thousands of tracks) hybrid palette of orchestral, electronic and acoustic sources.  It is as much about the texture and the feel of the music against picture as it is about theme.  I use both approaches in combination when addressing the needs of the project.”
